I AM SO EXCITED!!! Can you tell?! Did I mention I got a job?!

I'll be a Mental Retardation Asstistant. The group I will be working with are high function, so I'll just have to interact with them, keep them on task, and go on trips and stuff with them. I'll be doing Orientation starting on Dec. 1st for 9 days from 8:00am until 5pm and then I'll be working from 2:00pm til 10:30pm, but some days I'll work from 2pm until 6:15am. There's another job that I might get where I'll be working with children that are abused, neglected and abandoned. The Home provides residential treatment services, foster care, adoption services, and a charter school for emotionally disturbed children and advocates for greater public support of early prevention, intervention, and treatment. If given the opportunity, I would prefer to work with children, but am taking what I can get!
